Sand Dunes

Importance:
A characteristic feature of the highlands of Tajzara, the dunes are formed when strong winds shift and deposit sands around the plateau surrounding the Great Lake.

Landscapes:
The sand dunes surround part of the Great Lake in a valley surrounded by cloud-draped mountains and glacial formations.

Recommended visiting time:
All year.
